District monitoring requirements. Data from various Districts could be more easily compared when

they are acquired on a similar basis with consistent quality control and quality assurance standards.

Also, standard monitoring requirements reduce the Corps' cost of analyzing, reporting, and

managing the dredge data since each District does not need to develop unique software to manage

these tasks.
